Enjoy traditional Tibetian steamed momos with a hearty jhol sauce or even pan-fried in butter until the wrappers turn crispy and brown.

Serve with jhol sauce, hot or cold. Leftover chutney/sauce can also be enjoyed with cooked rice. Enjoy lentil soup as a starter or even save it for a light supper for later!

Ingredients

Momos are made with all purpose flour and are stuffed with cooked mixed vegetables

Red Jhol sauce is made with Tomato & Sesame and Green Jhol sauce is made with Tomatillo & Jalapeno

Chicken Curry - Boneless chicken, onion, tomatoes, whole spices, cumin, ginger, garlic, coriander

Instructions & Storage

STORAGE

- Package ships with ice packs, may thaw in transit
- Upon arrival, remove packaging and place immediately in the refrigerator to defrost or keep frozen in freezer
- ** Momos should stay frozen until prep time **


COOKING/PREP

- MOMOS - Remove the momos from freezer and steam for 10-15 mins or until tender and soft
- JHOL SAUCE - Empty contents of jhol sauce into a sauce pan, cover and simmer until warm or desired heat
- Alternatively, you can also microwave and heat the jhol sauce
- CHICKEN CURRY - Empty contents of Chicken Curry into a sauce pan, cover and simmer until warm or desired heat filling your kitchen with the aroma
- RICE /LENTIL SOUP - Empty contents into a microwave safe container and microwave 2-3minutes* covered


SERVE
- Serve curry with warm rice
- Place the steamed momos in a serving plate and pour warm jhol sauce. Garnish with coriander if desired
- Serve warm lentil soup as a starter or enjoy as a light supper
